well, i gess i forgot to add the zhlt.wad so i added that into my directory of textures and recompiled and found that the error type thing in my .log wasnt there anymore so i have to wait and see if my map works now.

how could my map be causing the problem? its just a reg maps with no added custom textures....i sent my clan leader the .bsp..he put it in the file and when we change to the map..the damn serv crashes..why is this

k cuz i was loooking at some .res files and they had the .res file in them..so sould i just ad the .bsp? and it shouldnt be my map. it downloads fine frommy comp...but when i just sent the bsp...it crashes. or something i dont no

ok, and im having trouble with the .res this is all the files i have

aim_killaz_battle.bsp aim_killaz_battle.bsp.ztmp and a aim_killaz_battle.res and inside the .res i have this.

but wait. isnt that just zooming in and out? because i am on the smallest grid possible and the stairs are too big

Hey, i have a problem, how do u make it so that when u make stairs/doors/ and other stuff, u can make it less the the grid. cuz if umake the stairs 1 grid, u cant walk up them. so how do u make it les that a grid but not one line? say like half the grid? or what ever.

The armoury_entity is in that FGD so you may not be installing it right. They are not in alphabetical order or anything.

And it won't get rid of the automatic buyzones around your start points. You can place your own func_buyzones to prevent the automatic ones.


how am i not installing it right? dont i just go to the config and click add and add it?

i mean..i dont have a brush outside of my world. they are all inside. but wait. what do they exactly mean by brush?

Your entities are not leaks.

The entity mentioned is just an entity NEAR the leak. Entities have nothing to do with leaks. Fix the hole(s) in your map.

One thing you can use in Hammer is Map->Load Pointfile.

The Pointfile will show you the path HLBSP followed to find your leak.


i followed what u did becuz i was having the same problems but when i loaded the pointfile. how am i supposed to follow those lines? like how in the world does it show me where my leak is? and i have no idea how i got a leak..i mean..thers no way there i a hole in my map

of course, there has to be an error in my map so this is what i get in my "mapname".err
