I wasn't using any more than 8 before I deleted all the WADS and added 5?

Hm was the amount of wads I had that was crashing it....thanks guys for the help. Ill have to look for 8 wads that will suite my map. Whats the limit before it actually crashes when going to export .map?

Is the amount of WADS added to hammer really make a difference?

Well why would Vista be the reason? and I do not have an upgrade or a downgrade. So idk if its a bad install or not.

I do have like 40 WAD files being added to hammer. Doubt that could be a problem?

Well when I got export the .map my Hammer crashes saying send error report to windows. I am on Vista 64 bit. I am running it in Windows XP SP2.

It always crashes idk why, so that may be why the .map is 0kb?

I've made my own texture with Wally and used it in VHE. Once I have compiled the map and open it, cs gets stuck and i have to close it! But when I delete the brush with my texture, it works without any problems!
Plz help me

There are no leaks in my map but it says something with leak in hull 0 info_teleport_destination. Here is what it shows:

then you rebuild the whole map!

wtf game shuts down and i have noone to ask why :O
its my maps fault anyhow heres the errormessage that pops up on the middle of the screen after game shuts down

no if no name or incorrect name it teleports nowhere i believe its just a bruch that doesnt do anything :P

i made a surfmap my self and they r really hard to compile :/

wrong wrong wrong......
the problem is that u have ur textures scaled down too much if u scale up some of ur textures it will work i did this in my map surf_lofman and voila it worked

the problem is that the lights splits the textures in different pices.
so every time a texture is shown its one pice.
if u have a face of 256x256 and put a 256x256 texture on it thatllbe 1 patch. but if u put a 128x128texture onn it or scale the texture down to half the size that will be 4 patches
do you understand?

as it is now u have a total of: 90970 patches. the max is around 65000 so scale down ur textures!

i know about it

its because of windows programs:
msn
msn popups
msn logon notification
windows media player

make sure no msn popups are up when u start vhe and turn off Windows media player untill its started than u can turn it on once its started

ok i solved the problem my attributes for the picture in paint was set to 256x200 so thats it and it works fine now changed it to 256x256

but i copied everything in the map and pasted it into a new rmf and now all works

make teleports and make the floor in different sections so not all teleporters go to the same place cause than everyone will get stuck in eachother.

when i try to play my new map that i made it says "allocblock full" what does that mean

cs shuts down and a message pops up and it saysd "allocblock full"

i think what u have done is assigning the .bat files to wordpad or what program u may use. anyway u will have to unassign it.

i made a new map with a beach and a couple of bunkers.
every round the teams swithch spawns.
ok i got that working without problems
but then came the problem with the stripping and equiping
so i made it easy for myself i used one 1 stripper and 2 equipers,
1 for knife 1 for awp. everything worked just fine exept that
when the switched sides they werent stripped
so i had to add about 70 new enteties. ex 32 new strippers and 32 new triggers

why doesnt it work with the simple multimanager
that triggers a stripper every round???

see thats the thing its a map for a server with costom maps and we r workin so noone else can use it at their server

just wondering if any of yall in here like the idea of a 1 on 1 knife map. cuz i made one and it works :D everytime someone dies two doors open and lets one player of each team in. and the winner of the last game gets teleprted to another room and get stripped of his knife and every 20th second all the winners are dropped down on the fighting area and they get their knife back :O :D just some bugs sometimes

but would anyone like this kinda map ???

if u make a brush to an entity and put it as one of the walls it will leak. cuz with the beercan it would be like laying a paper ontop and put it upside down IT WILL LEAK YOUR PRECIOS BEER

i tried making spawnpoints that switch every time like in l33tsk33t. and thats where the problems began? why, did you have the same problem

ok i worked on my map for a looooong time and compiled in valvehammer that worked. but when i compile it in batch compiler it just wont work. there are a lot of teleports in it and when i delete them it compiles perfectly but i need the teleports and i dont want em deleted!!!

What can i do to fix this???????
