Could somebody please give me step by step instructions on how to compile a map for counter strike 1.6.

So I created a map called fycastle in valve hammer editor 3.4

I exported it to a .map format in the folder where i download ZHLT windows executables.

I made a .bat file called fycastle.bat from a text document in a folder where i downloaded ZHLT Windows executables.

I clicked edit and typed this in

@echo off
hlcsg fycastle
hlbsp fycastle
hlvis fycastle
hlrad fycastle
copy mapname.bsp "C:\Program Files\Valve\cstrike\maps"
cd C:\half-life
pause
hl -dev -console -game cstrike +sv_cheats 1 +map mapname


I clicked on fycastle.bat and I ran it but there was an error.


It said I have leaks in my map.


It looked something like this in command prompt.

===Leak in Hull 0===

Entity light @ -192, 0, 192

And there were a couple more.


Am i suppose to get rid of the light or what?

Any help would be very very very much appreciated.

how do i change teh thing above my construction yard (avatar) that is currently saying Entrails. ENTRAILS! i mean come on! im shore that im exterior as well as entrails. please tell me how to change it, i won't be able to sleep with it saying entrails.

It's a bit boring and the magizine flies to slowly. Try making your stickman black and tell him to throw the mag harder and swich the gun to fully automatic

OK vortex, if you duno how to make a flash movie this is wat ya gota do: Get flash (buy it (about 1 grand australian $), pirate it (wif p2p) or trile it), then go to google and look for some flash tutorials, watch them.

ok i got another prob wit my surf map i made it but when i try to convert it to a .bsp it says err wit no plane or sum thing like that i checked wut it ment n tried to fix it but cant...how will i convert my map (the porb is in the frist surf ramp) if u guys want i can post wut u have.
