when i tried to run the map

i got a leak in hull 0, so i had to fix it

so i went back into hammer and did load pointfile.

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FIND THE LEAK WITH THT HUGE SQUIGGLY LINE EVERYWHERE!

i was compiling my map... then i had an error, so i was like ok lets go fix it, and i uploaded hammer, and when i went to file, my map wasnt there anymore to load.. i swear to god if my map got deleated somehow ill be so pissed

why isnt here anymore where did it go!

when ever i think i have fixed the leak, it says there is a leak in hull 0 in some other coordinate. there has to bbe a better way of fixing this then looking at every nook and crannie in my map

yea all these problems ive been posting are from one map, its got over 500 brushes tht all have a chanche at having an error, and whenever i fix an entire list the compiler tells me to fix, when i compile it again it gives me a entire new list of things to fix, argg

how do i fix this!

The face has a texture axis that is perpendicular to the face, probably caused by rotating an object with texture locking disabled. This could also indicate an invalid face caused by vertex manipulation.

my entire map turned white... and i have no textures! WAHT happend!!

when ever i try and join a custom map, like a surf map, or cs_assault_upc, or just like not common maps, i get this error saying, "Cannot continue without model (mapname.bsp),disconnecting

i have tried uninstalling and just putting maps into my steam maps folder, but none of its working, idk if my valve hammer editor did something to it to make it be like this, : (

i dont get how to get these into hammer. and wat does it mean by "Unzip everything to your Hammer/fgd/counter-strike folder and tell Hammer to use the new FGD (Tools->Options->Game Configurations->Game Data Files box).

hm ok, i tihnk i fixed it, i got another quesiton too, i keep having to think for a long time about the slant capacity of a ramp, like i dont know how steep a ramp can be before it becomes un climbable. hmm

o and where do u get those green boxes for the bobmsite? like in dust2?

cuase im trying to like, proportion this stuff or w.e and i have a ramp tht goes up to a wall, it touches fine, but i now need to make a runway tht the ramp leads to, but i cant make the brush the correct size without their being a blackspot inbetween both or the brush hitting and going into the ramp. arg

here are some problems i have

Can walls go into each other a little bit? like i have two walls and one of them is more of a wedge and it is slightly going into the other wall right near it, but it clears up the gap tht was there prior to the movement. is it gunna cuase any problems?

and how to do u make those green boxes like the ones at the bombsites in dust2?

how do u make a wall have a bend, like kinda making a wide C, so u can like kinda hide behind it or throw a flashbang or other kind of nade and let it roll on the wall to cuase a longer trajectory. no wat i mean?

right now im re drawing the ruff draft onto graph paper before i make it on the hammer grid. this my first map i ever made so i wanna make it good and all tht jazz.

ok thtll probobly not take to long to get the hang off, and btw how do u make boxes and stuff to like decorate the hallsways and wat not so its not just plain and dull empty hallways

yea i searched around and couldnt find anything, and since superjer made it possible for me to even get this far, i figured this would be the best place to ask. once i figure out how to make stairs and how to make hallways have like a C curve to them on a certain side, i think ill be able to finish this map for my clan in no time

do u just stack brushes on top of each other

brushes i mean as boxes, like do i make them just stack?


also could u say how to clip stuff to make it like smooth like in the shape of a C really, no wat i mean?

at the part where your trying to "cover your beer box" i dont get how he copies the floor into a cieling, like how does he get it up there? this is the only thing im stuck at and after this ill be able to move on! gahh please help
