ok so i decided to just forget about the door problem.... so all im looking for is how to make the func_hurt to disapear when the func_breakable breaks..

And also, i have a func_hurt ontop of a func_breakable so they cant jump onto it.. and i want the func_hurt to disapear when the func_breakable breaks but comes back everyround like the func_breakable.... is this possible? Thanks

Idk but im having a small problem.....Basically i want the func_door to stay closed when i press the button but i want another button to open it up. When i use my func_door i set it to starts open and have a button to open it. But when i press the button the door closes back up.... Its a zm map and i set it so they can go through then close up the door using the button but the door goes back to its original place. is there anythign i could do? I did the delay before close but i want it so the ct could open the door back up while it was closed and inside...... I tried putting another button to open it but it didnt work.. any help please?

Alright, but, NO FLAMING lol...... This map is a zm map that I made I'm only about 5-8 weeks into making maps. So I don't know much about them. Ok, hold on let me take pictures and post em up.

I don't really know where to check my computer speed and stuff like that... 8/

Last time I checked for the "leaf thread" was around 17000 seconds.. Which is around 15-20 hours for my map...... My computer is fairly NEW.

Oh, ok, but why would my map take 10-20 hours just to compile? I don't want to leave it over night because of my electricity bill 8/............ It's not that big of a map it's a pyramid with levitating blocks.... 8/

I know that but I heard that doing it from valve is apparently faster than doing from the .bat.

It still hasn't worked. I followed everything you said and did it right, but, I don't have C:/programfiles/valve/steam... mine just goes C:/programfiles/steam.. is that right?

The f9 thing does make the .rmf or .map into a .bsp right?

What? Putting my .bsp into my cstrike/maps isn't going to do anything because I'm stuck with compiling my map with valve?

The reason why I did the f9 was because he said it was faster than the zhlt. My map... takes around 5-10 hours just to be done compiling......

He say's that its because i have my valve hammer editor thingy wrong but I know that there all right. I have no clue what to do to fix this. Please help!

its loading up the models. its just when i play on the map the cars are activated sideways and they are switched around.

ok i found out why my cars werent popping up. i forgot to add int he origin texture...



but now my problem is that when i go play on the map the cars are opposite.... like when i drive it, the car moves forward from the sides. how would i fix that?

JIGSAW. your the one posting now? Yes my errors gone but what about my cars? They show up in valve but when i test em out they are gone. No clue what happened.

When I put my cars in they look fine on my .rmf, but, when I go and play on my map the cars disappear. I got the cars from a map and made it a prefab. I have 2 cars and they are all correct from the properties.

I keep getting this weird error saying something is too full. I forgot what it was called because I didn't copy it. I compiled it again and it was gone. I'm not sure what it was.

is there such a thing like that? that only lets cts through a teleporter or a func_illusion? is it possible?

well, i would want it to open first by itself because they need to get teleported from the same teleporter and to the other side and then on the other side theres a button that closes it....







My other solution is a func_train... I dont really know how to work em can you guys help?

Well like.. theres teleporter's and i want them to disapear is a certain time. but if it doesnt work couldnt we have something like move over it to cover it up? like in the map zm_boatescape..??

Anyone know how to make so a brush moves to a certain area? Like a wall moving to an area..

Ok, so im making a map where they get teleported to a spot and then they have to get teleported out.. but on the teleported out i want it to disapear from time or a button... is that possible? if that is tell me please 8]

Just like the title says. Whenever I try to put a ladder in it works perfectly fine but when I test the map the blue area's are black and they arent see through. Anyone know how to fix this?

I need some help with my water... I want it so when they go into th water they get some damage.. not alot.... I have a func_water with a lava effect... i want like 5 damage every 2 secs.. but when i test it out it just takes 100 damage and i die.. i need some help wit this..

When I try to test out my map it downloads and everything but when I get to the verifying resources it stops and doesn't do anything. I look in my cunsole and it shows this
"Error: server failed to transmit file 'sound/C", how would I fix that? It's starting to annoy me because I have no clue how to fix that.... Someone said sound/C isn't there and I have to do something about it but I don't know what to do! please help... greatly appreciated.
