thx and i also wanted to ask, i made a dynamo that create 5v of energy but not constant, its the one we shake, left right left right not the one that spins. it produces energy for aobut 1 second, but will it power those 15 LEDs in paralel?
also is it nessesary the resistors?

so i read about Parallel circuits and how they have the property of sharing energy and 1 battery powering lots of leds instad of a series one.but i dont get it to work, but i read also osmething about resistors and all that but i dont get it. for example, i want to connect 15 white LEDs of 3v (thats the seller told me) with about let say a 5-6v battery. how would it be in parallel?

hello, i thought u know alot about pc so i wanted to ask about a problem i got.
My computer wont turn on normally. the light will go on the blue one and the red one but then the red one turns off and no boot. when it works, the red will flash. I dont know the problem, first it hought ram, then energy, then video, now BIOS but i dont know, i get it to turn on randomly, trying to take all ram out, disconnecting and connecting all, connecting different outlet, reseting BIOS, nothing, today i jsut opened the CD thingy and it beep once then it turned on. i once got 8 beeps, another 9 and today 7. ?

rmx is the valve hammer editor's file type i think, when u save it in valve it will be rmx :D or map

By clicking in the object u can change the |mode" u can see it wil the different "icons" around the object, like sqaure at edge, circle at edge or square at sides.

all u need to do for the transparenct is to set the Render Mode to TEXTURE and the FX amount (1-255) to 1 to 255 (Lest=more transparent) (1 hole wall invisible but touchable, 255 will just make the blue spot transparent)

1.button opening door: make a brush (door) that will be your door. then click it and press ctrl+t and choose func_door, then go to name and put any name, then make a second brush (button)and then press ctrl+t again and choose func_button or buttontarget, and go to target and add your door's name.

2.classic door: if you mean rotating door here: first make a brush(door) then use the texture origin and put it between your door and the wall at the middle, thats where the door will rotate, then choose the door and the origin and pres Ctrl+t and choose func_door_rotating.

Well first things first, making big areas means that the game engine has to render a lot of polygons, which means a lot of lag.

Second of all, there is a maximum distance at which you can see objects. Once you're out of that range, the game no longer renders them. You can change the max view distance, but I would suggest that instead of doing that you change up your map so there isn't a big open area, for previously said reasons.


first of all, it isnt that big (smalled than de_dust2), second, is not map distance because i can see the old block i added and the are farther,

Well you can't just throw them all in a folder and have it work, you will have to change the links inside the html file so that they direct to wherever you have the files stored.

no, i mean i want one side that u can see through and the other not like u can see Ts and Ts cant see CTs. or yes it can be glass too, that in one side is transparent like glass and the other solid that u cant see throug it

Yes i did those port forwards too before starting this topic, i port forwarded 27016 with the ip addres 192.168.2.102 and it doesnt funtions, i have tried with another ADSL modems and no but this router have funtion with a motorola modem, id ont know what happpen

Ah, well I can't remember the exact name of the texture as I don't have hammer installed on this comp, but the preview of it looks like an eye if I recall correctly. I'll try and install hammer so I can get the name of the texture for you.

Edit: I was thinking of the clip texture, which would be clear, but you wouldn't be able to walk through it (I think).

i have seen some maps in which1 wall have 2 faces and thar 1 face u can see through it and the other face no, in another words 1 face is transparent and the other opaque, and yes u can through the transparent fae as if the opaque wall isnt there

Unless your router just doesn't work, forwarding your PC.IP:27016 to ROUTER.IP:27016 should work perfectly.

Are you positive you chose the correct internal IP to match your PC? And did you verify it matches ipconfig?

Also, make sure to allow access in your firewall if you have one.

A lot of mappers don't like the original fgd because it doesn't allow you to build a lot of cool things. If you'd like, you can download the CS Expert FGD which is much cooler and even has some bug fixes:

Unzip everything to your Hammer/fgd/counter-strike folder. Then tell Hammer to use the new FGD (Tools->Options->Game Configurations->Game Data Files box).
