aren't you supposed to put the name of your map where it says 'mapname'?

but the bsp is exactly the same as the bsp is for CS. just, the .map that halo uses holds all the data needed to load (such as character models and weapons and projectiles and scenery, etc. genearlly anything you see and hear). the CS map is just textures and a mesh you walk on.

if I extract the .bsp, then the textures, it should work in theory.

I've seen halo maps ported to CS 1.6, and source. so I know its possible to do it in both. i was wondering how to do this. I can't find anything that would allow me to rip the .bsp in any of my software (dothalo, adi, h2x, dark matter, insolence, and entity. I don't see anything in any of those programs to allow me to save the .bsp

even after I manage to get the .bsp out, how would I go about saving it as a compatable state for CS 1.6 to handle? (I don't own source, nor does my computer possess the ability to run it, so no that won't work)

any help is appreciated.
