did you tie the light entity to any of them?

you could be setting the entity of the block to light and that won't make it show up.

try making a block on the ceiling with the texture and placing a light entity right below it.


(sorry, i'm not sure what you mean by texture alone.)
eh. the most common mistake for exceeding MAX_PATCHES is putting a box around your map to protect it from leaks when you have to contour the sky/whatever textures to the walls on your map to make a seal instead of the box around the entire thing. hope that makes sense.

Nevermind.. i found out that too many WADs could cause this error, but I also installed hammer 3.5, so many that's why.
Hey, whenever I try to export my .rmf file from Hammer to a .map into ZHLT it won't compile. I tried opening the .map file with Hammer and I get an error saying something along the lines of, "For your information, [large number] objects weren't loaded due to errors in the file." and shuts down hammer. I don't know what's wrong.. before exporting I tried alt+p but it didn't come up with any errors. The only map I got to work was my first one you showed me how to do in the tutorial.
