Ok, I've been trying to use Game Maker to make a game. Now, normally GM is an easy-to-use programme, but I have no idea how to make a board game! Cant someone help me? Maybe even just find a different programme I can use.

I can help a bit i have little skilling it tho.you can look at the tutorials tho they are boring as hell.
What kind of board game are you trying?Chess checkers or what?
I molested my self last night.I said no but I knew i wanted it.
I looked at tons of tutorials, I can't find a way to set things up board game style: turns, jumping pieces, limiting directions of motion, 2 players...
The game is more or less like checkers, just totally different. I made the game up about 2 years ago.
Code it yourself! You don't need to make an amazing graphics engine for checkers-type stuff; just manipulate pictures on screen :p

I can see how you would do the pieces and the back ground.but the players and A.I would be hard for me.I could do the the movements a bit and the background.You would have to give me the graphics of the stuff and what size you want the board to be.
