Counter-Strike 1.6 map making error

I tried to make my own map in counter-strike 1.6. everything works as it should up until i start via the .BAT file. in the game, when it's loading, it says "no info_player_start". it is there, in a room without leeches. and it is not stuck in the floors or walls. please help it's really frustrating.

Well you should probably post this in the hammer mapping section.

But I was wondering, how did you make your map with no leeches? Every time I make a map there is always leeches.

I drew the blocks inte each other, so that they're not layed on top of each other, theyre inside eachother.

Ah thats a good idea, that way the leeches can't get into the map.

If you've not placed an info_player_start, well, you need one. If you have... that's odd. Everyone stares when you walk in the room, they stare when you go....

Don't do that. It makes it exponentially harder for VIS to do its job. ...then I got some ap, and shot a big ass lazar at everyone.

Leeches are beneficial. For example, they help remove blood clots...by sucking your blood (and those nasty platelets that stick together). ...then I got some ap, and shot a big ass lazar at everyone.
