The engine is based on source, and the graphics in the trailer (and screenshots) look bad for 2011.

Yet another way for valve to ruin counter strike (as they have done of dota)

It will likely be free. Well, perhaps.

Valve will stick to Source forever, because that's the way it's made. Engines are expensive to make! Though, I imagine it is getting difficult to make changes to this most recent one.

I'm interested to know how they're ruining this and DotA - as far as I'd seen they weren't really making changes...
