you just need to put cstrike.wad in your NEW /cstrike folder, the steam one, not the old one. just copy it.

[code:1]hlcsg: Error: Could not open wad file \program files\valve\steam\steamapps\i_love_puppies\counter-strike\cstrike\cstrike.wad

hlcsg: Error: Could not find WAD file
Description: The compile tools could not locate a wad file that the map was referencing.

You can't have the files on different drives. If the wads are on D: and the tools are on C: it no worky.
