so back in the day i was able to make a public server, but now i cant seem to get an internet one running. there might be a firetruck out there but i cant find it and the internet tuts dont really work, help! @( o_o )@

go to:

Steam>Tools>Install Dedicated Server>Run Dedicated Server

[list]optional: C:\Program Files\<Valve>\Steam\steamapps\<email>\dedicated server\addons

then add mods[/list:u]

What kind of server on what OS?

I'm assuming your problem is that you can start a server but it can't be seen on the Internet. You probably have some routers and firewalls in the way.
