Mind posting a screenie of your map in hammmer? And the error is because hlbsp doesn't produce the test.prt
and why is only zhlt.wad included when you put -nowadtextures? Check your textures ...

"cannot find pts file"

xxxx.pt# and xxxx.pts are files made in compiling by the compiling tools. Usually when you get "can't find .pts" it means something went wrong with compile. It could be a bad setup you made for the compile, or you're Running WC/hammer thru normal instead of expert, or having "too many wads", or corrupted compiling tools (rare but happens), a bad path/name somewhere, or several others. The solution is generally to use a front end or batch file with zoner's compile tools, then the problem usually goes away or the compiling error becomes clear.

See his second pic, test.map is only 0kb, which means that your map is empty, so try exporting it from rmf again

Well when I got export the .map my Hammer crashes saying send error report to windows. I am on Vista 64 bit. I am running it in Windows XP SP2.

It always crashes idk why, so that may be why the .map is 0kb?

Vista

Thats probably your problem

But I do gotta ask, why are you running it in compatibility mode? It runs just fine on my win7 x64.
I'd try running it without compatibility mode, and if that doesn't work reinstall hammer.

Well why would Vista be the reason? and I do not have an upgrade or a downgrade. So idk if its a bad install or not.

I do have like 40 WAD files being added to hammer. Doubt that could be a problem?

Is the amount of WADS added to hammer really make a difference?

Hm was the amount of wads I had that was crashing it....thanks guys for the help. Ill have to look for 8 wads that will suite my map. Whats the limit before it actually crashes when going to export .map?

Because vista is ≤ shit.
Looks like you got it figured out though. I don't think there is any limit as to how many wads you can have imported into hammer, but you can't have more than 8 in one map.

I wasn't using any more than 8 before I deleted all the WADS and added 5?

Wait, what? I thought it was working now. Anyway, the FAQ tells you how you can merge textures into a custom WAD, though you should try to use widely-available WADs, rather than making this huge monolithic WAD. If you know what I mean.
