how to convert a .bsp file to .map file.

guys i have been looking for the tool which can convert the .bsp file to .map file... can i have its link??

when you compile your rmf file you get from hammer
and if the whole compile went great without err you should get them both...and then some
just in-case i don't answer you right back

yah seeing how a bsp is a complex file and map is so simple
just in-case i don't answer you right back

During the compile process (.map to .bsp) some information is simply discarded so it's not possible to exactly recreate a .map/.rmf-file from a .bsp-file.

Some decompilers still manages to do a pretty good job. With "pretty good" usually meaning that you need to manually re-build the whole map by using the decompiled output as a template.

In other words, it's usually not worth the hassle.
