I'm sure, but unless you're running at a nonstandard (i.e. fewer than normal) number of pixels per inch, it would be the same size as the rest of ours.

No it wouldn't. Why would you say that? That doesn't make any sense. My screen is many times the size of a normal monitor, therefore the picture on it is as well. It's not like you can go above 1920x1080 pixels on a TV. The resolution is as high as possible and the hand is very big. The hand is actually much larger than my own on my screen.

On my screen the image appears as 500 pixels by 463 pixels. Unless you are somehow seeing a larger-resolution image than I am, it will also be that size. If we assume that your pixels are spaced at 100/inch, as are mine, the image will appear to be 5 inches by 4.63 inches. Funnily the image is about that size on my monitor.

What I'm trying to say is that the size of the hand is not dependent on the size of the monitor; instead it varies with the pixel spacing. BOOYAH.

On my 47" 16:9 TV, there are about 46.9 pixels per inch (vertically) at 1080p resolution. You can do the math yourself to verify.

DR: Everything on my TV is more than twice as tall as on your screen.

Summary: DR is smoking crack.
