So my mom owns a photography company, and she needs a website built. She has one set up already that she made using an online website builder, but she wants one where people can purchase her pictures right from the site. Theres two things that she needs as far as people buying stuff...
1.)A section where she can put some photo's, where it shows a thumbnail, and then you can click it for a bigger preview. Then you have the option of buying that photo.
2.)When she takes class photo's and stuff like that, she wants it where she can upload all the pictures to the site, then people can go on and choose which picture/s they want, as well as a package, and order them online.
If somebody could direct me towards how I would go about setting this up, that would be great, but what I would really prefer is if someone could set it all up and have it so she can just upload the photo's/set prices and everything, then I can pay you for setting it all up.
I can do all the design work needed, but I've never set anything up where you can purchase stuff right from the site. So if anybody is willing, I could even work together with you doing the design aspect of it, while you do the coding part.

I believe she used VistaPrint to make, as well as host the site. I would prefer NOT to use VistaPrint for the new version of the site, so I plan on switching the host to something else, probably SiteGround.
Edit: The domain for the website is www.FienPhotography.com, if you wanna see what she has now.

For those of you who need a clickable link.
Let me tell you now its been forever since I have done anything with html, and java, and flash so I am not going to help with the coding unless its like a last resort type situation. But I am all about ideas.
Firstly let me tell you, that right now people can copy/save the pictures from the site [via right click]. That is way bad, people can copy and post them on their site and stuff like that. If you use a flash foundation then that will get rid of that problem -there is also a way in html to disable it, but like I said its been a while.
Secondly, putting the Contact information on the home page isn't advisable.
There are other things, but those are specific to the current design; and because, I do not know whether you want to modify that or create a new one I wont list them.
...then I got some ap, and shot a big ass lazar at everyone.

Building an e-commerce website is A LOT of work. You are not going to be able to get someone to build a good one for cheap. It's just not possible.
I would recommend going with an existing solution like goEmerchant, 3DCart, Volusion, CoreCommerce, Yahoo Stores or Ebay ProStores. Most of these I think are ready to go, or have a free trial, and then a monthly fee.
I can't vouch for any of them specifically because I haven't used them, except for Yahoo which works but can be pretty annoying.

Thanks. CoreCommerce looks like it might be pretty good, but I'll have to look into it more, and see which one my mom would prefer going with.

He said a mom, not a dad...
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.
