Srry for being a noob. Not my fault.

Ok. To the problem.

After running the .bat file everything is doing well until im going to click the "Click any button to continiue"-button.

Then a box with the messadge:

Steam.exe (main exeption): Unable to write to the current steam application folder.
Please move steam to a folder were you have write privileges

I appreciate any help and i link the log here under:

Apparently you're not allowed to write in the location where you have your steam folder (C:\Program Files or something). Are you the computer's administrator? If not, the administrator has to allow you to write stuff in that location.
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

When it said in the end of the compile 'press any key to continue', did it say '1 file copied' as well?

Nvm. im totaly done now ; ) thx for help tho. managed to do the rest myself. Pretty complicated with vista. : / and swedish version..

Ah, vista again. I haven't yet heard of anything but trouble with vista. I sure hope Windows 7 is bringing some improvements... Is it out yet?

i DOnt really know... will get it for sure. Vista sux balls... i have one more question tho... how do i apply HP crossfade for the gun and armor value and bullets and stuff?

You obviously are a standard user on Computer. Try some tutorials and stuff to learn how to use PC, then try advanced stuff like mapping and programming. I also have Vista and it's working perfectly since the day I bought it. You just need to know how to use it. Never mind, you're probably just stu.

Eh... in my opinion Vista still sucks ass... it's better to just stick with XP or even better Linux at least until you can get Windows 7 (which is said to be "Vista as it should've been").

I say we no longer help this guy. Vista is unintuitive and shit. The day I got Vista it bluescreened four hours in.
