Small issue with armoury_entity

I'm new to mapping:
I tried the armoury_entity but in the list of weapons to choose from, pistols are not available or knivez, is there some other function to create pistols, did I configure hammer wrong? Something about the config seems wrong to me but I am not sure what correct is.

Configuration: Counter-strike
Game-data files: Halflife-cs.fdg
Texture format and Map-type: Halflife / TFC
Game executable directory: C:\games\Half-Life
Mod directory: none
Game directory: C:\games\Half-Life\valve
RMF directory: C:\Program Files\Valve Hammer Editor\maps

i think you cant do knives anyway, but idk about the pistols part.

there must be someway to spawn knivez ive seen it in scoutzknivez and other knife maps.

that is a game_player_equip entity. if you have the expert.cfg you should be able to use it.

that must be the problem i dont have the expert.cfg is there somewhere i can find it im having trouble searching.

Click the Game Configurations tab
Now click the Add button on the big Configure window

theres more in depth stuff in the actual article on how to add another fgd.

I added both the files from the fgdfolder, the only new option i can find is game_zone_player. I must have done something wrong where is the article on adding gd files?

Ive added the expert.fgd file to Hammer but still cannot find the game_player_equip when selecting the ToEntity choice, can i be helped?

its not something that you tie to a brush, look in the lightbulb list.

eh its ok, im doing this all from memory so if i forgot something, my fault.

what you do is from the little entity list that looks like a lightblub, look for the game_player _equip.

You do not to add any thing just create an entity then rename the entity as the desired function.
E.g
You want to strip a player of all his weapon on map start
create a multi_manger. Then in properties REname where it says multi_manager to player_weaponstrip. Then to trigger it just create another multi manger and set the name to game_playerspawn. Then disable smart edit click add then add the name given to player_weaponstrip entity. and the value is the delay after which it will trigger player_weaponstrip entity.

Same for game_player_equip.
but disable smart edit and click add to add the desired weapon you want.
e.g weapon_knife gives every spawning player a knife

check your autobuy.txt in cstrike to get all the weapons names.
