In sound recorder, is there any way to increase the max time (60 secs) of recording?

Yes. Record a few seconds of sound... and then use Effect->Decrease Speed.
Every time you do this, the length will double. This way you can make the file as long as you need. Kind of chunky, but hey at least you don't have to download/buy anything. :P
WARNING: wav sound takes up A LOT of memory. If you make the sound too long you could eat up all your RAM, so only use as much as you need, or go get a more professional sound recording program.

This was posted so long ago but no there isnt and he means when u are recording is there a way to extend the time not after but nope there is not just when it gets by the final time keep clicking the record button to make it keep recording u will just miss a split second of the sound
