Hi,
I'm using Ati Radeon 9600 graphic card.
I downloaded appropriate driver and Catalyst Control Center from Ati´s website.
The problem is that I can't select anything in 3D view.
I searched this problem from google and I visited lots of forums and the best solution seemed to be downloading atioglxx.dll file.
Yep. It almost worked but not quite.
No my selections are very random... Useless!
What should I do?

The same thing happens to me. I'll go to click on an object and it usually selects something behind the one I'm actually trying to select.
Maybe its just how the program is... either that, or we both get the same issue xD

Are you on vista?
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

No. Xp Professional.
It worked with my last computer which had worse graphic card.
And yeah with me it also selects some big object behind what I'm trying to select.
Damn... I really don't know what to do...

This happened to me a long time ago. Shortly after I took a break from mapping, then came back and it was fixed. And I did download drivers in that time, so that's probably the fix.
edit: I never heard of selecting the brush behind what you're clicking.. hmm idk

In Hammer: "Tools" --> "Options..." --> "3D views" and make sure "Reverse selection order" is not checked.
(If it's already unchecked you could try checking it and see if that helps...)

Wow!!! Thank you SO MUCH Killer-Duck!!!
Before I checked this from Hammer I noticed that you had posted that reply, I rememberd that you have always given great advises and you gave one once again.
Thanks again!
And hey Down Rodeo, I also checked Catalyst Ctrl Center but the solution wasn't there. Thanks anyway.

Yeah I did use advanced settings but when I realized that I can't solve this myself I rememberd Superjer Forum.
I'm glad this problem is solved.
