I need some music thats good to listen to when I'm just chillin out. Usually I listen to stuff like Massive Attack, Deadmau5, Bone-thugs-n-harmony, stuff like that...
As you can tell from my 3 examples I'm not very picky on genre, only thing I don't really like is country/western, and anything that sounds reminiscent of lil' wayne.
Any suggestions?
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.... wanna ROCK AND ROLL, all NIGHTTTT! and party EVERY DAY!
Hehe, but no... I actually kinda use music as a medication. I have ADD, and i find that when I listen to some somewhat slow, claming music, it helps me keep focus better.
Believe it or not, there was actually one point in my life where they used to have this radio station that would play opera music, and any time I needed to get anything done I'd switch that channel on

I just recently found Red Sparowes. Especially their latest album is super chilly and beautiful. Also songs like "I Found A Whistle", "Someone's Missing" and "Siberian Breaks" from MGMT are pretty chilltastic. And Fleet Foxes, always.

Just looked up all three of those bands, all of them are pretty good. MGMT's songs "kids" I've heard before, but had no idea who it was.
Would fade to black by metallica be considered chill? since it's kinda soft...
edit: and also sanitarium by them
I used to listen to metallica pretty often, and even went to see them live. But lately i can't stand to listen to them, every one of their songs sound exactly the same.

Theory of a deadman is good, and I listen to them every once in a while. But even though they are pretty slow, I don't find it very calming, hehe
Muse? Any kind of music u can chill to really it just depends what u like and mood.
I don't consider muse chill music. I think the genre of music doesn't have much to do with it, its more of the style of the band. Hell, there is some metal that I can sleep to, and there are classical pieces that give me energy. All depends on each band and how they play and stuff.

WHATTTTTTTT
I agree that st anger is one of the worst albums ever, and death magnetic was barely better, but saying everyone of their songs sound exactly the same, is like saying slipknot is good, since that isn't true.
