Truck: Pitch Black in Hammer Mapping
same thing si happening to me but im in the mpa i can see but i cant see and part of my body and no icons nothing else on the screen lik e a radar, and i cant pick my team!

ok nvm i got my map to load on cs but i cant choose my side and there isnt anything on the screen but i can hear my footsteps! what did i do wrong?

Truck: help!!! in Hammer Mapping
ok nvm i got it to work dont mind the comment above...but when i press any key to continue after checking if there is an error file it loads cs but it doesnt load my map it just takes me to the main menu.....does ur map name have to be without spaces and with underscores?

Truck: valve.wad missing.. in Hammer Mapping
u never used it that was cstrike.wad and try going into search and searching my computer for the file. if its not there go on google and search for the file u can get it there.

Truck: I need Help. in Hammer Mapping
open GCF scape and go to C:\program files:\Steam:\Steamapps:\and look for cstrike.wad it should be down there somewhere. select it and gcfscape will load it. Next you have to click on cstrike and a bunch of files should come down, look for cstrike.wad and right click and extract it to a new folder u can name it WADS if u want. GO back to hammer and go to tools>options>Textures>add wad, and find the file that u put cstrike.wad in and select it. click ok and ur ready to go! keep following the guide. replay if u got anymore questions.

ok thanx but i also have anohter problem, ive gone thru the whole guide and i ahve to compile, and i think i downloaded the wrong ZHLT. the link in ur guide takes u to teh page where it should be but i cant download it it goes to cannot find page or wutever. so i searched for zhlt on google and downloaded wut i think is it. but when i have to put a new text document in the folder, and i name is first map.bat, it changes from a text document to a MS-DOS batch file :S and i cant write in it. help?
