ok thanks. I think it trully is easier to just import a .bmp file than to make one in wally.
But when I go to New it just asks me for the name and size, it doesn't ask me what type I want it to be. And I can't save it as a wad file either.
I only downloaded the wallyzip file, do I need to download something else as well (like the wallysetup file)?

Does anyone know the approximate length&width of de_dust?
...and that's the bottom line because Mate de Vita said so.

OK I've somehow managed to make the elevator like I wanted it now. With a lot of questioning on different forums (btw thanks newbie for directing me to the twhl).

Now I have a new question. What's the smallest amount that you can input as value in the multi_manager?
Because for the elevator to work properly, I need to make the multi_manager trigger the elevator a bit after changing its target and I want that difference to be as small as possible).

Also I'm interested if there's any guide to making goodlooking buildings (especially texturing them).

guys, what do you call a map that doesn't have an objective (like de_ or cs_) but is much bigger than a fight yard (fy_) map?

So I was right:D.
Some one have just decompiled it and fixed it.

So MdV just decompile fy_iceworld and fix it like the guys on alliedmodders
and btw alliedmodders just doing plugins, mods and such so You can download it to Your own server. I dont think they do mapping.

will nulling the faces that are exposed to the outside of the map (e.g. the other side of a sky brush) result in a leak or is it allowed?

Nah, that looks like an exploderised brush. One of the dimensions jumps to like 10000 (either your map is huge or you have corrupted a few brushes). Delete them and start again.
